GeoEvakuator ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a customer.
By using our services or website at geoevakuator.ge, you agree to the practices described below.
01
Information We Collect
When you use GeoEvakuator's towing and vehicle transport services, we collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact Information: Your name, phone number, and email address (if provided) when you place a transport order.
- Location Data: The pickup address (start location) and delivery address (end location) for your transport order.
- Vehicle Information: Make, model, and any relevant details about the vehicle being transported.
- GPS Tracking Data: Real-time and historical location coordinates of the transport vehicle during an active order, including latitude, longitude, timestamp, speed, and GPS accuracy.
- Communication Records: Records of SMS messages sent to you in connection with your order, including delivery status.
We do not collect payment card numbers, banking information, or government-issued identification numbers.
02
How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- To process and fulfill your vehicle transport or towing order.
- To send you a live vehicle tracking link via SMS when your order is created.
- To provide real-time location updates about your vehicle during transit.
- To contact you regarding the status of your order or in case of delays or emergencies.
- To improve our services and operational efficiency.
- To comply with legal obligations under Georgian law.
We do not use your personal data for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell your data to any third party for commercial purposes.
03
Live Vehicle Tracking
GeoEvakuator offers Georgia's first live GPS vehicle tracking service. Here is how it works and how your data is handled:
- Tracking activation: A unique tracking session is automatically created when your order is registered in our system.
- Tracking link: A private, unique URL is generated for your order (e.g.
geoevakuator.ge/track/[unique-code]/). This link is sent only to the phone number you provided.
- Location updates: The transport vehicle's GPS coordinates are recorded and updated approximately every 5 minutes during an active transfer.
- Data visibility: Only the person who receives the SMS link can view the tracking page. The tracking code is a cryptographically random UUID and cannot be guessed.
- Data retention: Location history is retained for 90 days after the order is completed, then permanently deleted.
Important: The live tracking feature collects location data about the transport vehicle and driver during the active transfer period only. We do not track vehicles or drivers outside of active transport sessions.
04
SMS Communications
By providing your mobile phone number when placing an order, you consent to receive service-related SMS messages from GeoEvakuator. These messages include:
- Order confirmation and your unique tracking link.
- Updates about your transport status (where applicable).
- Delivery confirmation notifications.
We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages without your separate explicit consent. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You may contact us to opt out of non-essential SMS communications at any time.
05
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers to deliver SMS notifications and to power the GPS tracking infrastructure. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may not use your data for any purpose beyond providing their service to us.
- Mapping Services: The live tracking page uses Google Maps to display vehicle location. Your use of the tracking page is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by Georgian law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
06
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy:
- Order records (name, phone, addresses): retained for 2 years after the order date for legal and accounting compliance.
- GPS location history: retained for 90 days after order completion, then permanently deleted.
- SMS communication logs: retained for 1 year.
- Website technical logs: retained for 30 days.
You may request earlier deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly. See Section 8 for your rights.
